Eight held for taking manager hostage

MALACCA: Eight members of a kidnapping gang were arrested less than 24 hours after they took a factory manager hostage on Valentine’s Day.

Malacca CPO SAC Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye said the incident took place at about 6.30pm on Monday outside a factory at Cheng Industrial Zone.
