KUALA LUMPUR: A freelance writer claimed trial in the Sessions Court here to a charge of cheating a man of RM144,000.
Mohamed Fariq Abdul Rahman, 35, is accused of deceiving Ong Eng Huat, 45, into believing that two offer letters naming him as a Petronas sales representative were true, thus inducing Ong to hand over RM144,000.
