Norashikin buried with full honours


KUALA LUMPUR: Toh Puan Norashikin Mohd Seth, the widow of former deputy prime minister Tun Dr Ismail Abdul Rahman, was laid to rest at the Warriors’ Mausoleum at Masjid Negara with full state honours.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, former deputy prime minister Tun Musa Hitam, Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, deputy ministers and royalty paid their last respects and extended their condolences to the family.

Norashikin died of septicaemia at 12.10pm on Friday at the age of 80.

She was buried after zohor prayers at 2pm yesterday.
