SOME things don’t change. As a student, Loon Kuan Chong cycled to school. Decades later, as a retired teacher on contract, he is still cycling to school.
He started his primary school education in the then Rasa Chinese School in 1954 and returned to teach there in 1971 with a starting salary of RM200.
