Bill to protect consumers from misleading advertisements

A COMMITTEE will be set up under amendments to the Consumer Protection Act to check misleading advertisements.

Under the Consumer Protection (Amendment) Bill, the committee is to advise the minister on advertisement matters, especially those which could mislead consumers.
