MALACCA: Malacca MCA liaison committee deputy secretary Lee Cheam Choon has been appointed a senator for a three-year term.
The motion, moved by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam, was passed at the Malacca State Assembly yesterday with 22 Barisan Nasional assemblymen supporting and five DAP reps opposing it.
