KOTA BARU: Kuala Krai Umno youth chief Tuan Aziz Tuan Mat, 39, is Barisan Nasional’s candidate for the July 14 Manek Urai by-election.
Tuan Aziz, an engineer, will be pitting himself against PAS’s Mohd Fauzi Abdullah, 50, in a hotly contested seat which Umno deperately needs to win to bolster its fledgling image makeover since the 2008 general election.
