Ying Ying’s mum acquitted of drug charge

BALIK PULAU: Former sales executive Jess Teh Hooi Wen, who was arrested in connection with the death of her three-year-old daughter Shearwel Ooi Ying Ying in 2007, was freed by a magistrate’s court on a drug consumption charge.

Teh, 30, was all smiles as she left the court yesterday after being discharged and acquitted of a charge of allegedly consuming methamphetamine.
