KUALA LUMPUR: A reticulated python, one of the world’s largest snakes, laid 165 eggs in captivity at the Cave of Reptiles in Batu Caves here recently.
Arun Raveendaran, 23, who runs the Cave of Reptiles, claimed it was a rare occurrence as female pythons in captivity usually laid 30 to 100 eggs only.
