KUALA LUMPUR: Roads nationwide will be rated according to their safety levels in a move that is expected to cut road accidents by about 30%.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat said the Road Safety Department, Malaysian Institute for Road Safety Research (Miros) and the Works Department embarked on a joint-project to evaluate the safety of roads.
