GEORGE TOWN: While the status of George Town’s World Heritage Site hangs in limbo, developers, heritage watchdogs and experts here have started questioning the part played by the previous state administration.
Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association (Rehda) Penang chapter chairman Datuk Jerry Chan said stakeholders, including landowners, developers and businesses were not consulted on the formation of the heritage guidelines.
