IT WAS a tense week. Although Parliament sat for only three days, everybody was anticipating with excitement for the tabling of an amendment to the motion of thanks on the Royal Address by Lim Kit Siang (DAP-Ipoh Timur).
Even Lim waited patiently for the right moment but proceedings were extended till late night on Tuesday and Wednesday to allow all the ministers to finish winding up their speeches.
