Tickets for Celine Dion show go on sale today

PETALING JAYA: Tickets for Canadian superstar Celine Dion's show here in April will go on sale today.

Organisers Artiste World and Galaxy Group said yesterday the show was a one-of-a-kind gig and the only one in South-East Asia.

“Tickets to most of her shows across the world have all sold out. We expect tickets here to be snapped up fast as well,” Artiste World executive director Arianna Teoh said.

“The show is definitely an experience not to be missed. This is a lifetime opportunity and definitely a family affair.”

Celine Dion Taking Chances World Tour – Live in Kuala Lumpur will be held at Stadium Merdeka at 8pm on April 8. For details contact 03-2282 2020.

The world tour will be the first for the 39-year-old singer since her return to the music scene in 2002 after a three-year hiatus.

Apart from Malaysia, Dion will also perform in Australia, China, Japan, Europe, South Africa and the United States.

Dion first gained international recognition in the 1980s after winning the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival. She later won the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest.

She achieved worldwide success with the release of several English and French albums.
