KOTA KINABALU: An attempt by a purportedly environment-friendly power producer to hush up its use of coal instead of oil palm biomass has landed it in trouble with the Anti-Corruption Agency.
Two ACA officers from Putrajaya detained a 44-year-old man at a leading hotel here when he tried to offer them RM3,000 to close an eye on their surveillance of the power plant in Lahad Datu in the east coast of Sabah.
