THE Government will not make it compulsory for the police to escort the vehicles of security companies which deliver huge amounts of cash as too many locations and premises are involved.
Deputy Internal Security Minister Datuk Mohd Johari Baharum, citing an example, said in the Klang Valley alone, there were an estimated 2,000 such transactions daily.
