KUANTAN: All rural areas in Pahang will have access to the Internet by next year, State Science, Innovation, Information and Information Technology Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin said.
“Once we link up the areas with telephone lines, rural folks will be able to enjoy Internet access,” said Sharkar after visiting two Internet centres in Bukit Goh and Paya Bungor near here yesterday.
