PETALING JAYA: The third season of popular reality TV show Malaysian Idol has been put on hold till the end of the year due to the arrival of 8TV’s newest local reality TV show, One in a Million.
“We have not cancelled Malaysian Idol but postponed it to a later date. The earliest we will have the show is by year-end. We're taking a break as we had already aired two seasons of the show,” said 8TV chief executive officer Ahmad Izham Omar in a phone interview yesterday.
