PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal has fixed March 2 to hear submissions on the issue of lawyer Datuk Muhammad Shafee Abdullah who is facing the prospect of being jailed for contempt of court over a letter alleging misconduct by Justice Gopal Sri Ram.

Court of Appeal Justices Gopal Sri Ram, Hashim Mohd Yusoff and Zulkefli Ahmad Makinuddin postponed the proceedings yesterday after Senior Federal Counsel Datuk Ummi Khalthum Abdul Majid told the court that Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail, who was not present, wished to address the court on this matter personally.
