Returning minister Mohd Effendi sworn in as senator


KUALA LUMPUR: Newly-appointed Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Effendi Norwawi was sworn in as a senator in the Dewan Negara here. 

Mohd Effendi, 57, who holds a degree in development administration from the University of Tasmania, Australia, was appointed Minister in the Prime Minister's Department under a Cabinet reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Tuesday.
