SUNGAI PETANI: A trader, who reported his relative to the religious department for cohabiting with a female companion, had acid splashed on his face and was slashed on the head when the couple chanced upon him at a restaurant here.
Shahbidin Abullah, 55, who received eight stitches to his head and is suffering from blurred vision following the acid attack, has been warded at the Sungai Petani Hospital.
