Perak consort heads Selangor list

KLANG: The Raja Permaisuri of Perak Tuanku Bainun heads the list of the 110 people receiving honours in conjunction with the 60th birthday of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, today. 

Rosmah: Her SPMS carries thetitle Datin Paduka Seri

Tuanku Bainun, who is Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris Chancellor, is the sole recipient of the Darjah Kerabat Kelas 1 (DK1). 

The Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah and Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, will receive the Darjah Kebesaran Seri Paduka Makhota Selangor (SPMS), which carries the title Datuk Seri for men and Datin Paduka Seri for women.  

Education Ministry secretary-general Tan Sri Ambrin Buang, Selangor Religious Council chairman Datuk Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa and Public Services Department director-general Datuk Ismail Adam are the recipients of the Darjah Kebesaran Datuk Setia – Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (SSIS), which carries the title Datuk Setia. 

There are 14 recipients of the Darjah Kebesaran – Datuk Paduka Makhota Selangor (DPMS), which carries the title Datuk for men and Datin Paduka for women. 

Tan: Among the 18 recipientsof the DSIS

They include MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Azalina Othman Said, Universiti Malaya pro-chancellor Toh Puan Dr Aishah Ong, former High Court judge Prof Datuk Seri Dr Visu Sinnadurai, Health Ministry director-general Datuk Dr Mohd Ismail Merican, and Selangor police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Yahaya Udin.  

A total of 18 people will receive the Darjah Kebesaran Datuk – Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (DSIS), which carries the title Datuk for men and Datin Paduka for women. 

Among them are Crafts Council of Malaysia president Raja Fuziah Raja Tun Uda, Malaysian Ambassador to Libya Datuk Zulkifli Yaacob, Yayasan Budi Penyayang trustee Kamaluddin Abdullah, Petaling Jaya Utara MP Chew Mei Fun, Accountant-General Datuk Mohd Salleh Mahmud, Gombak MCA division chairman Yip Kum Fook and Star Publications (M) Bhd group managing director Datuk Steven Tan Kok Hiang. 

There are 14 recipients of the Setia Mahkota Selangor (SMS), including Youth and Sports Ministry parliamentary secretary S.A. Vigneswaran. 

In addition, 14 people will receive the Darjah Kebesaran Setia – Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (SIS), 19, the Darjah Kebesaran Ahli Mahkota Selangor (AMS), 18, the Darjah Kebesaran Ahli – Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (AIS) and seven, the Bintang Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (BPC).
