KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Abdul Khalid @ Khalid Jafri Bakar Shah, the author of 50 Dalil Mengapa Anwar Tidak Boleh Jadi PM (50 Reasons Why Anwar Cannot Be PM), was convicted by the Ampang Sessions Court for publishing false news in 1998.
The decision came as a surprise for the writer who turned 65 yesterday.
