THE Dewan Rakyat sitting got off to a “surprising” start yesterday when Speaker Tan Sri Ramli Ngah Talib spent the first 10 minutes advising MPs to ask only substantial questions and to respect one another.
However, his advice was met with some uneasiness among several MPs, one of whom complained that the Chair was treating parliamentarians “like schoolchildren”.
