MALACCA: The degazetting of the Sungei Udang forest reserve is part of the state’s masterplan for development, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam.
A total of 26.3ha of the reserve was degazetted on Dec Government of Malacca 22 last year, according to the Gazette published on Dec 30, 2004. (The Sungei Udang forest was gazetted a reserve on Aug 24, 1987)
