IPOH: The Perak government has posed a challenge to Proton Holdings Bhd for the car manufacturer to set up Malaysia’s first university specialising in automotive courses.
State Education, Human Resources and Multimedia Committee chairman Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir said the formation of such an institution would be timely given the growing demand for skilled labour in the industry.
