KUALA LUMPUR: The Court of Appeal has set the week beginning Jan 24 to hear the prosecution’s appeal against the acquittal of Shah Alam City Council engineer Hanif Basree Abdul Rahman from a charge of murdering Noritta Samsudin.
The prosecution filed the notice of appeal on July 2 last year, one day after Justice Abdull Hamid Embong acquitted Hanif without calling for his defence.
