Former deputy minister dies

BESUT: Terengganu veteran politician Datuk Zakaria Abdul Rahman, 68, died of a lung infection at his home in Kampung Alor Lintang here early yesterday. 

His youngest daughter Siti Nurbaya, 29, said her father died at 3.15am and was buried in his hometown of Kampung Nyiur Tujuh after the Zohor prayers.
