KUALA LUMPUR: Certain animals in Zoo Negara that were housed in enclosures close to nearby housing areas may be moved under a redevelopment plan for the national zoo, Natural Resources and Environment Ministry parliamentary secretary Sazmi Miah said.

“We may move these animals living in enclosures close to the housing area within the existing zoo area but the question of relocating the zoo does not arise,” he told a press conference in the Parliament lobby yesterday.
