KUCHING: The state Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board has warned lorry operators that it will suspend their permits if they are found to have modified the fuel tanks of their vehicles.
Board executive secretary Ajis Sagem said operators who modified the fuel tanks in order to carry more diesel were breaching the conditions of the permits as this would increase a lorry’s gross body weight.
