PUTRAJAYA: Local authorities must ensure that designs of all future projects do not become aedes mosquito breeding grounds as the number of dengue cases has increased more than four-fold in the past four years, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
Najib revealed that in the year 2000 there were 3,723 dengue cases but this increased to 15,442 last year.
