Overturned tanker causes five-hour jam

TAPAH: Motorists on the North-South Expressway were caught in a massive traffic jam for over five hours after a petroleum tanker overturned, causing an oil spill at Trolak, about 50km from here. 

State traffic chief Supt Hamza Taib said the accident occurred at 9.30am yesterday when the tanker driver, 31, lost control of the northbound vehicle, and hit a trailer in front of it before overturning. He suffered minor injuries.
