KUALA LUMPUR: NKK Corporation of Japan never asked for a RM76.4mil payment for its technical services from Perwaja Rolling Mill and Development Sdn Bhd, the Sessions Court heard yesterday.
Former Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd group senior manager (operations) Akram Ayop @ Che Ayub said the then NKK Corporation managing director, N. Otani, had told him this when they met in 1995.
