Four charged with abduction

KUALA LUMPUR: Three Pakistani general workers and a Singaporean businessman were charged in the Sessions Court here with kidnapping South African diplomat Cornelius Van Niekerk Scholtz last month. 

Nisar Ahmad Khan Sardar Ali Khan, 35, Arshad Mehmood Mohammad Shafi, 38, Shahid Mehmood Muhamad Bashir Ahmad 28, and Singaporean Narajan Singh Ujagar Singh, 67, were alleged to have abducted Scholtz with intent to secretly and wrongfully confine him.
