IPOH: An Indonesian lorry driver, who admitted to being in love with an underaged girl but denied having sex with her, was sentenced to 54 years jail and ordered to be given 15 strokes of the rotan by the Sessions Court here.
Maaruf Mahmud, 33, of Felcra Changkat Lada in Kampung Gajah, had claimed trial to two counts of statutory rape and one count of having carnal intercourse against the order of nature.
