THE Government is considering granting citizenship to Malaysian-born children whose parents are permanent residents, Sin Chew Daily reported yesterday.
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Tan Chai Ho told the daily that under the existing ruling, such children would only be granted permanent resident status like their parents.
