HEALTH and medical services in Malaysia, considered among the best in the world, could continue to stay competitive with attitudinal changes and unceasing motivation among the staff of the Health Ministry, its minister Datuk Dr Chua Soi Lek told Berita Harian

In an interview that touched on his tasks and aspirations for what is regarded a “hot” ministry, Dr Chua said they were not facing normal but sick people. He added that although private clinics provided similar treatments they were popular because their doctors and staff were sensitive to the patients' needs.
