MCA sets up panel to work on merger

THE MCA has formed a three-men committee to co-ordinate party matters and ties with Gerakan, including matters pertaining to the merger of the two parties, Sin Chew Daily reported yesterday. 

Veteran member Tan Sri Dr Sak Cheng Lum, who is Penang MCA adviser, heads the committee while deputy president Datuk Seri Chan Kong Choy and vice president Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn sit in the committee.
