KUALA LUMPUR: The Cabinet has decided topostpone the implementation of the double-tracking electrification rail project (DTP) because of the need to prioritise the country’s many development projects.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah AhmadBadawi said in a statement yesterday eveningthat although the Cabinet recognised the benefits of the project, it also had to consider other needs.
