Man seeks order on disability payment

TAIPING: A former human resources manager has applied to the court to ascertain if an insurance company can declare him fit to work even if two government agencies have classified him as suffering from total and permanent disability (TPD). 

K. Subramaniam, 53, who was declared as a TPD case by Socso and EPF, is currently receiving pension from Socso and was paid a disability payment of RM30,000 by the EPF.
