KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia have formally set up the Tripartite International Rubber Corporation after discussing the viability of establishing the consortium for over a year.
Primary Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik said the pact was signed last week in Bali to facilitate collaborative efforts to sell rubber, which faces heavy threat from synthetic rubber, in the global market.
