SHAH ALAM: A Malaysia Airlines (MAS) air stewardess told the Klang Sessions Court that a scene in a pornographic movie showed her having sex with the accused in a bathtub at a hotel room in Brisbane, Australia, in 1999.
“Yes, it was me having sex with Rizal in the bathtub,” said the 28-year-old witness when referring to a scene from the VCD entitled Kehidupan Seorang Pramugara Yang Terlampau (The Excessive Lifestyle of a Steward) on the third day of the trial yesterday.
The stewardess, who is the first prosecution witness, said she also had sex with the accused at his house in Taman Sri Andalas in Klang and at the MAS Academy hotel room in Kelana Jaya.
However, she said, she could not remember if Rizal had filmed their sexual acts at the MAS Academy hotel room.
“I only remember that Rizal filmed our sexual acts at the Brisbane hotel and his house,” she said, adding that she agreed that their sexual acts had been spliced with other scenes in the movie.
The stewardess was being cross-examined by defence counsel Rakhbir Singh in the trial of Mohd Rizal Mat Yusof, who is charged with producing a VCD containing sexual acts with the aim of distributing it to the public.
Rizal, 32, was said to have committed the offence at his house in Klang between early 1999 and this May.
When asked if she knew of others who were recorded while having sex with the accused in the movie, she said she was unaware of it.
“I’m only involved in some of the scenes,” said the witness, whose name was withheld by the court.
She said she first watched the sex scenes in the movie on the Internet during an enquiry conducted by her superior at the MAS office in April.
“I lodged two police reports, one in Shah Alam and another in Kajang with the knowledge of my husband-to-be,” said the witness, who is now married.
When re-examined by DPP Salehuddin Saidin, she identified Rizal as the man having sex with a woman in one of the scenes in the movie.
“I can confirm that it is Rizal from his stomach,” she said, adding that Rizal had a tummy.
A 38-year-old senior MAS steward, who was also featured in the VCD, said he was aware that Rizal was filming him onboard a plane.
The steward, who is the third prosecution witness, said he recorded the accused hugging the air stewardess in the cabin.
“I did it as a favour to Rizal who asked me to film him with the stewardess after he told me that it would be one of his last flying assignments as his contract would be ending soon,” he said.
The steward, whose name was also withheld by the court, said he was very angry and upset when told by his superior that he had been featured in a pornographic movie together with other MAS staff.
He said he paid RM10 to obtain a copy of the VCD from a night market in Seremban in order to prove to his family members that he was not involved in the sex acts.
He said another woman featured in a bedroom scene in the movie wearing a MAS uniform was not the first witness.
When crossed-examined by Rakhbir Singh, the steward said the movie showed two MAS stewardesses having sex with Rizal.
The hearing continues today.
