BAGAN SERAI: The 900 families from Jalan Parit Buntar and Jalan Selama here who have abandoned their homes due to the floods need not worry about missing the mail as their postman has opened a makeshift pick-up post at the edge of the town here.

Although yesterday was a Sunday, Mohd Sabran Jamhari was there keeping a watchful eye on bundles of letters and bills at the post, which also provides shelter for volunteer flood relief personnel.
