THE Education Ministry is studying the implications of a proposal to shorten schooling period from 13 years to 12 years.
Its parliamentary secretary Datuk Mahadzir Mohd Khir said the proposal would have implications on teachers and classroom requirement and student placement at institutions of higher learning.
