Groundnut sales raise RM123,000 for peace

KUALA LUMPUR: Who would have thought that the sale of groundnuts could raise more than RM100,000 for world peace.

Thong Thye Groundnut Factory Sdn Bhd, manufacturer of the Pagoda brand of groundnuts, showed its commitment to peace when it contributed RM122,568.25 to the People’s Alliance For Peace Malaysia (Peace Malaysia) at Menara Datuk Onn in Putra World Trade Centre yesterday.
