MIRI: Regulations and bylaws at both national and state levels will have to be devised to legalise and regulate the construction and use of transmission towers as more than 90% of the 8,000-odd structures in the country were illegally erected.
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission is seeking the help of all state governments to introduce such legislation in their respective states, and it has started the ball rolling in Sarawak.
