KUALA LUMPUR: People who are talented in making batik will be encouraged to join the industry to revitalise it, said Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood.
“We have a wealth of talent in Malaysia. We must find that talent and bring it into the limelight,” said Endon when launching “Malaysian Batik – Crafted For The World,” a movement to showcase Malaysian batik locally and internationally, at the JW Marriott Hotel here yesterday.
