Centres to tackle social problems

KUALA LUMPUR: Programmes to address social problems will be implemented once community service centres are established in high-risk areas nationwide by November. 

National Unity and Social Development Minister Datuk Dr Siti Zaharah Sulaiman said several Rukun Tetangga centres would serve as the community service centres to implement the social development programmes under the National Social Policy, which was launched by Deputy Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Aug 19.
