SHAH ALAM: A non-governmental organisation has lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Agency against officers of the Klang district police station and the Klang Welfare Department for allegedly slacking in their duties, resulting in the death of a Klang Old Folks Nursing Home inmate last week.

Federal Territory dan Selangor Angkatan Pelopor India Muslim (Federal Territory and Selangor Indian Muslim Vanguard) chairman Ramli Abdullah, who filed the report yesterday, said the agency should investigate why the police and the department had failed to act despite being alerted two years ago about alleged abuse at the home in Southern Park, Klang.
