KUALA TERENGGANU: The state MIC will go ahead with the Deepavali cultural night here on Oct 3 and a similar event in Kemaman on Oct 18 despite the PAS ruling that bans women from performing in public places.
Its chairman R. Suppiah said yesterday the performances at both events would include dancing and singing by Indian women.
