KUALA LUMPUR: Users of ordinary telephones can now transmit messages by SMS (Short Message Service), e-mail and fax using a new service introduced by Telekom Malaysia in the Klang Valley.
The FixedLineSMS service will see users at home or in the office using a new phone set which has an LCD display to send messages which are keyed-in in the same manner as a mobile phone.
